Can I really type anything?
Yes, you can, but the interaction depends on what you type. This game puts you in a specific situation: a conversation about a relationship in stalemate. If you don’t take on that role, the game will ignore most of what you type. If you try to “stick to the script” you’ll notice how the game can understand you and respond appropriately.

A very interesting interactive game. It's probably more of an experience than it is an actual game, but I found it very enjoyable. If you like romance (even of the non insect variety) and short stories, this is certainly worth a spin.. A casual, and very beautifully artistic, created game depicting the lives of two Preying Mantisis discussing the close line between love and death.

You can choose to either play as a male or female mantis with varying routes and dialogue. Speaking of dialogue, you can type exactly what you want to say and the other mantis will respond accordingly - an aspect very rarely played out well in games nowadays. Along with dialogue, you also have a few options to do certain interactions as well as portray various emotions to your partner.

A beautiful gem of a game that provokes emotions, thoughts and potential new perspectives on both love and death.. A nice game. The art is lovely. A simple story about two mantises deciding how their relationship will go.. Very sweet little game. It's heart warming and atmospheric.
If you enjoy short little story games with lots of achievements and love, then this may be a game for you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIqJJONBrXU. Interesting premise. I salute developers that create new and innovative material! Dialogue is a little clunky, but if you lose yourself in the experience you'll get an emotional couple playthroughs.. It's Facade. With bugs instead of yuppies.

The concept is intriguing, the execution felt flawed. I resorted to typing "go on" because I didn't understand what the game expected me to type. And sometimes saying gibberish was still good enough to progress the conversation. There were also several moments where the game misinterpreted my intentions and the other mantis was like "you wanna break up??!". No, no that's not what I said at all...

Playing as female mantis got me the same neutral ending twice. Playing as male got me the "let's make love" ending. Both conversations felt more or less the same. Heavily scripted, nothing I said changed the flow of what was being said. I know a pre-made script has only so many options to fool you into thinking you're talking to an actual person, but this one felt so very futile...

Overall I don't think there is much to recommend here aside from the out there premise of "hot steamy and potentially fatal mantis sex". (And no, you don't get to actually see it. No sexy mantis pin-ups to be found here. :U)
