Our internal biochemistry should be slightly more Goodbye Grey Review  alkaline that neutral 7.0 pH. The blood and lymph should be 7.365 with very little deviation from it. The term acidosis is meant to show a shift of the body chemistry towards an acidic condition, perhaps a chronic one at that.

Women seem to be more vocal and proactive in keeping their age a secret. The anti-aging industry is a multi-billion dollar one with women being the primary customers. Scientists have for decades, been trying to provide more effective anti-aging tools and to that end have been studying the effects of a lowered pH on overall body health. The conclusion they have come to is that disease cannot exist in an alkaline body and the closer the body pH comes to the ideal, the healthier the body becomes. This happens naturally without the aid of lotions, potions or pills by adjusting the diet and fluid intake to reflect a more alkaline nature.

To understand acidosis more fully, it is necessary to understand how the body gets acidic in the first place. How our bodies function has changed very little in the last few thousand years. Our bodies do best on a diet of plants, fruit, nuts and seeds, with the occasional fish or meat that was caught, and of course water. That type of diet keeps our body terrain, more on the alkaline side. These foods are alkaline-forming in the body. In other words, there is a little acidic metabolic waste formed from this type of diet, but it is small enough that antioxidant values in the fruits eaten were sufficient to keep the free radicals under control, keeping the body towards the alkaline side.

Fast forward to today and we have a diet predominant in acid-forming foods. Foods such as coffee, sodas, deep fried foods, super-sized fast foods, pizza, baked goods, trans fats and other unhealthy fats, sugar and sugar-laden foods, dairy products, slabs of meat, cheeses and a whole litany of other foods that have not been naturally in our diets make up the majority of our food intake. Some of them I don't know if you can even call them foods. They are as close to poison as you can get and they do unspeakable things to the body. They create huge amounts of acidic metabolic by-products that overwhelm the body's natural buffering system and the staggering amount of free radicals damage cells, sometimes beyond repair. If our blood pH drops too low, our cells sicken and eventually die. Over time, this is what we call aging.
