As grief and loss begin to overwhelm Jack and those he is close to, a double-cross goes undetected, a canister of toxic gas is in enemy hands, and a surprise death occurs.
Galvez hides inside the FBI perimeter while Tony shoots himself to mask his involvement. Renee and Jack are informed of Moss's death and join the FBI team searching for Galvez. Tony plans to trap the FBI team in an empty apartment building and use C4 to demolish it, creating a diversion so Galvez can escape. Meanwhile, an unknown figure, Cara Bowden, impersonates Hodges' lawyer to lecture him that the bioweapon was not meant for Hodges' personal use, and threatens his family unless he commits suicide to preserve the identity of his co-conspirators. Galvez poses as an FBI agent and lures the team into the building. Jack realizes via tracking devices that the agent Galvez is impersonating is away from the building; Jack warns Renee, but the building explodes before the team can escape. Walker is unharmed, but a suspicious Jack learns that Tony lied to him regarding his source on the White House raid. With all evidence pointing to Tony's involvement, Jack confronts Tony, but has a seizure, allowing Tony to escape. Hodges consumes the suicide capsule handed to him by Cara and is rushed to the hospital. Tony escorts Galvez and the pathogen to an ambulance, which Galvez promptly hijacks.

In summary,here the events that happened during that hour:

1.Tony Almeida asks Robert Galvez to set a trap at 1297 Rincon which would kill a couple of dozen FBI agents. Jack warns Renee Walker to get everyone out of the building. The building explodes. Tony retrieves the canister of the prion variant from Galvez inside the building.

2.Olivia Taylor says that Hodges is a sociopath, and that he'll try to cut a deal when President Allison Taylor orders Jonas Hodges to the FBI for interrogation. She urges her mother not to go through with it.

3.Jonas Hodges is visited by Cara Bowden posing as his attorney. She threatens Hodges' family if he doesn't take a pill provided by her which will induce cardiac arrest. He swallows the pill, and his escort yells for them to re-route to West Arlington Hospital.

4.Alan Wilson calls Bowden, asking if she has contacted Tony. She tells him that he's secured the canister, and that he'll pull through.

5.Jack Bauer tells Tony that there's no cure to his condition. Renee tells Jack that Galvez somehow knew their search pattern, allowing him to wire the building with explosives. Jack realizes Tony has betrayed him. He confronts him, and Tony says the toxin is affecting his judgment. Jack starts to have a seizure. Tony, taking away Jack's seizure control shots, calls paramedics and alerts them to Jack's seizure before walking away as Jack looks on.

Is Tony Almeida among the good guys or a villain?This episode points out to the complexity of his character.Jack had him almost for questioning but experiences a seizure during the interrogation process.Things become more thrilling and the suspense increases especially with Tony's actions seem inconsistent and odd in this episode as compared to the previous hours that he has been involved with Jack and Renee in bringing down the villains. After the shocking discovery in past episode, the plot of the seventh season of 24 has shown us possibly its ultimate twist and the introduction to the final threat of this day.

Tony tries to erase all the possible connections about his involvement in Moss'dead and also to keep his partner with the canister out of trace. Their plan: to trap FBI inside a building and collapse the building with C4. After many twists, Tony's true intentions are discovered by Jack. But Tony manages to escape due to the virus attacks Jack in the worst moment. Tony walks away under Jack's terrifying face.

This episode is an intriguing follow up from the last one, very intense and with good suspense. Although you can predict that Tony will be discovered at the end, you still watching the episode at the edge of your seat.

Also I was very excited when Jonas Hodges is forced to kill himself. Jon Voight is powerful in that moment.

A good episode, not as perfect as the last three installments, but development in a nice way.
