Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure is an exciting journey across a forbidden planet full of dangers and surprises. Can he save his parents before they're lightly seasoned and devoured?

Cosmo is a lovable extra-terrestrial with a special ability: He has hands that work like suction cups! He can cling to walls, ledges, and all sorts of things. Using his suction hands, Cosmo is able to avoid dangers, scale cliffs and get to places other aliens can't reach.

The early 90's are back! This game is great. Smooth controls and good music. Plenty of levels to keep you entertained for the cost.

Music and sound: 9\/10
Visuals: 9\/10

It seems to have lasted this long for a reason. Sound and visuals get high rating because they out-perform other games from that era that are also available on Steam (check out some of my other reviews.)

You are a naked green alien with red hair and suction cups for hands. Besides the basic jumping on enemies attack, you get bombs a both a weapon and utility to get through the level. The suction cup hands allow the player to scale up walls which is absolutely necessary for some levels. I grew up with the first game, but finally get to play the other two.. one of the finest platformers made in 92 had its still better than most indie platformers made to day.. You play a little alien which got lost on a foreign planet.
Now you have to search for you parents.

You don't have weapons, but you can jump on (most) enemies to defeat them. And you can climb walls.
In every level there is an exit which you have to reach. There are plenty of secret areas in the game.

The game is divided in three parts. Each part has 10 Levels.
The steam version includes all three parts of the game.

One of the best "old" games in my opinion. One of the better platformers of the early 1990's.

The later episodes get pretty difficult.

Spent dozens of hours of playing Cosmo's Cosmic Adventures when it first came out.

10\/10 - this finally came to Steam.. Good old-school sidescrolling fun. Might have to sit back from the screen for this one, the old graphics are a little garish at times, especially the backgrounds on some of the mid to later levels. The first episode was a great warm-up for the last two episodes which are pretty challenging; I beat the last level of episode two on accident. Best video game ending, 10\/10.. one of the finest platformers made in 92 had its still better than most indie platformers made to day.. if you had a 386 Computer you owned this game.

An Alien that have 2 sucktion cup as hand that help wall jump.. A game sooo old and soo classic that I never played before?

Well.. Not any more.. I play though all 3 episode and it took me alot longer then expect.

A very classic 2d side-scrolling platform jumper. Old school easy to die with only 3 health to begin with(ya.. u can get 2 more but they are hard to find and get).

Quite classic story plot with the first 2 episode ends with cliff hanger.
Being old game means this piece is very hard. Luckly we have dosbox emulator that allows for save states. Which I saved very offen to try not to die. (i know it feels kinda like cheating but try and try, try again is nice but i got a backlog of other games to play...)

By today's standard this game does have many flaws.. aged graphcis, aged yet classic game music, clunky control, small view range that you cannot anticipate incoming enemy on time... All the flaw doesn't dent the fact this is a great classic game and it will be a classic hidden gold forever.

8.9\/10.. very good and very enjoyable game... if you get it.. give it a try you will love it too. (do use save states to remove some frustration from dieing too much.)
