I'll admit there has been a steep learning curve for me to get at least somewhat good at playing this game but it has been worth it. I watched three or four people on YouTube that had play-through videos and that got me off to a pretty decent start. I have been playing this game, with all the great MechWarrior lore that to be honest I was not into that much before picking it up. The turn base combat is like playing chess but 100 times more fun. I played through a career my first time instead of doing the campaign and that help me take on missions more freely and get a lot of experience with the combat system. I am playing through the campaign now, when I'm done with that I am definitely going to purchase Flashpoint..
