This has to be one of the most exciting, keeping-you-on-the-edge-of-your- seat episode. Action? Humor? Emotional? You name it and this episode had it all.The entry of Mockingbird was really good.I would have never guessed that she was a SHIELD agent.The scene where Raina threatens Coulson was amazing.I was like WTH is he doing? Sacrificing Simmons like that? Raina is a pretty interesting character.She's like the jack of AOS. She plays on every side.But i would have really liked if Phil had taken her in. And wow, what is wrong with Skye's father? I think he will betray Dr.Whitehall. I mean come on,he spent most of his life searching for his daughter, he wouldn't just kill her as soon as he meets her. I will stay loyal to AOS, i wish it gets renewed. And Adriana .. welcome to the team!
Really enjoying season 2 so far. It looks like the producers may have actually listened to the major gripes people had with series one. First off, Coulson in the series appears to now be Coulson from the movies and is all the better for it. Grant Ward still has the range of a plank of wood, but hopefully he'll sacrifice himself for redemption soon. Tripp is a way better character and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him. May is just as good this season as last. Sky's arc needs to be carefully handled or it may end up as a boring slog, like Coulson's last season but without the Nick Fury guest spot that at least allowed it to be resolved well. The introduction of what appeared to be major new blood in Ep 1 that ultimately proved to be a guest spot went some way towards rebutting the charge that Marvel can't kill off major characters, but it shouldn't stop there. My only real gripe thus far is that we've yet to see a guest spot from any significant superhero, though introducing a long established super villain was a good start!
