I had problems with overweight from early childhood. From the age of 6, mom began to drive pediatric endocrinologists; from 8, diets began. Nevertheless, by the 9th grade, I weighed 90 kg. Doctors shrug: there are no serious metabolic disorders, but there is a strong tendency to be overweight.
I never stopped fighting overweight. There were diets more similar to starvation, and courses of slimming teas that provoked severe indigestion, and nutritional supplements, the taste of which still causes nausea. All this gave a definite result, but the lost kilos always returned quickly and often in large numbers. By my 29 years, I weighed 108 kg. And then I had to change jobs. The new position was very stressful, in the literal sense of the word it was not up to food. As a result, in 1.5 months I lost 7 kilograms, and then gradually another 11.
Then the previous appetite began to assert itself again. But by that time, the wardrobe needed to be completely changed - all things had become big, the arrow on the scales fluctuated at 88–90 kg. And I also remembered the words of one of the doctors I visited before, that with my height (172 cm) I need to lose weight at least 90 kg - this is weight that does not carry serious health problems. I firmly decided that I would not allow the lost kilos to return.
Pluses of a new figure
Of course, I did not reach the model parameters. But losing weight even up to 90 kg has seriously improved my life.
The menstrual cycle has fully recovered. Before, delays of 2-3 months were commonplace, but now the body works like a clock. In addition, menstruation has become less painful.
I became less tired. My work is now stressful, but I feel that now the loads are easier.
My stomach significantly decreased. Now I eat much less than before, and eat more quickly.
Well, of course, many positive emotions give compliments to others and the pleasant chores that accompanied the change of wardrobe. And, although I am not alone, men's attention to me has increased significantly.
