Young students in high school and college tend to think that everything they do will decide their entire future. Don't think that your performance on any one test or even in one class will ruin your future if you fail. Many students are able to make up work and do very well after failing a test. It is OK to fail, as long as you keep working hard and not let one setback stop you from obtaining your goals.

Though belief may be the driving force, there are other factors to consider as well. Just believe that you are who you want to be. Now focus on the qualities of this character. Think about how this person behaves, acts and thinks. Self improvement needs patience. If you're trying to change yourself- your personality- you will need patience.
