Thomas Edison failed 8,000 times before he found Uncompromised Life Review his perfect battery. Imagine if he had given up after only one or two tries. What's even more interesting is that he didn't call his 8,000 tries, failures, but 8,000 ways that he knew didn't work. Napoleon Hill said that failure carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit. Yes, successful people do fail, but they just don't give up. Behind every success achieved by others, there is more often than not a long trail of failures that people are not aware of.
The result of this is that when you see a successful person, it's ALL that you see, and you just imagine that it was easy. If it is the way you have been thinking so far, you need to remember this. You hear and read all of the success stories. You see all the people who have made it big. They typically talk about how they went after what they wanted, their personal goals and their dreams and they made it happen. You always see them looking good, on talk shows having a good time with the hosts and maybe even on infomercials and in some cases featured in movies. One thing that they are ignored in talking about is the hardships that they had to endure.
Some successful people don't talk about their hardships prior to success. But they are surprisingly rare. Many successful people at one point or another talk about some of the harder trials, obstacles, and blocks they had to face in order to make it to where they are at. Unfortunately, that point is often ignored. Many people look at the success of the person but pay little to no attention to the hardships that were endured. As a result, many people give up their attempts at pursuing their goals almost immediately to their start of it.
One of the things people do not like to hear is that success does not come easy. It is true in almost every lucrative area, or other areas important to your well being. In whatever you pursue, if you want quick success, you have to study, and you have to plan. If you go into something ignorantly and sloppily, your success will be delayed and maybe even prevented.
