Prayer and Mental Health
To the mental health providers, my need was not the issue. The need being met was the community's need to believe I had been rendered harmless and would be kept that way. That is what staff in Government funded mental health systems are paid to do
. It was decided by them that a life time of forced medicating would achieve and maintain the desired outcome. For compliance I was paid a small monthly entitlement check, an apartment in a subsidized building, and the promise that I would not be hospitalized again if I kept taking the so called medicine. That was the sum total of the benefits to me.
Many have experienced the same thing in these strange times of intense control. Try though we may, many of us never escape the loop.In today's fast paced world of competition, it becomes difficult for parents to understand what is going on in their children's mind and how much pressure they are under. If not managed on time, these problems can increase and make your child unhappy because mental health is not just the absence of mental illness but it is also the ability to cope with life's toughest challenges. It is as significant as physical health to everybody. It is seen that children often experiment with appearances, behaviors and attitudes and most of their experiments are harmless, but some experiences and experiments may have terrible results.
Due to these issues, most children are seen to experience mental health problems such as stress, harassment, anxiety, depression, family problems, learning disability and more. In fact, serious mental health issues such as suicide and self-injurious behaviors are also increasing among children. In order to stop such problems and help your kid live a healthy life, complete awareness and good mental health balance is extremely essential and who can provide it better than parents.
