As a matter of fact, there are only a few cardiovascular disease states in which it is recommended to avoid exercising. Despite the restrictions, some sort of physical activity is still allowed. The lack of information as to what exercise to do if one has been diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease such as Coronary Artery Disease or Heart Failure, has become one of the major concerning issues. As a result, people often tend to do no physical activity at all due to the common belief that exercise may actually not be good for them. Many physicians are also skeptical about recommending exercise to the patients as they themselves may be unsure of what is 'safe'.
