Exercise is one of the best ways to increase your lifespan and slow down the disease progression. It is considered to be effective in curing a number of heart diseases. However, the lack of proper information is one of the major barriers to the use of exercise in
heart diseases. The importance of exercise has been emphasized in various civilizations, over the years. The people who exercise are less likely to fall ill or suffer from any diseases.
Regular physical activity helps in reducing the blood pressure and improving flexibility & postureA number of studies have highlighted that increase in the level of physical activity reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and deaths due to heart disease, heart attacks, heart failure and strokes. According to Dr Sanjay Tarlekar, it has also been proved that exercise is effective in dramatically improving the preventing severe diseases. Exercising on a regular basis offers various benefits if you suffer from the conditions like coronary artery disease, heart attack, heart failure and valvular disease.
As a matter of fact, there are only a few cardiovascular disease states in which it is recommended to avoid exercising. Despite the restrictions, some sort of physical activity is still allowed. The lack of information as to what exercise to do if one has been diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease such as Coronary Artery Disease or Heart Failure, has become one of the major concerning issues. As a result, people often tend to do no physical activity at all due to the common belief that exercise may actually not be good for them. Many physicians are also skeptical about recommending exercise to the patients as they themselves may be unsure of what is 'safe'.
