In short, the electric current will manipulate the entire process. The male hormone is the male culprit that leads to PCOS. Once the release of this hormone is controlled, the PCOS can be brought well under control.
The other way where acupuncture works is that it acts on our brain system that plays a significant role in releasing male hormones. Once, it affects the process, the number of male hormones released goes down.However, it is strongly recommended that when one opts for Chinese acupuncture one should go to a licensed practitioner. It is better to seek medical assistance from an expert. This is because if the needles are not inserted properly, it can affect one's nervous system.
